Reaction to Athlean X, Shoulder Pain & Popping ( SHORT & LONG TERM FIX!). In this video, I will demonstrate what Athlean X was explaining in his video. From mobilizing the scapula, increasing range of motion and integrating the rotator cuff muscles in his exercise. Although he did not mention the subscapularis, its very important to workout that muscle for optimal shoulder health in a rehabilitation routine when suffering from shoulder pain.

How-To:Wall Arm Rotation for  FHP/Upper Cross Syndrome (Type 2)- Rhomboid & Lower/Mid Trap. Here is a creative way to strengthen all the postural muscles of the upper body in one exercise.

The purpose of this exercise is to get Lower Trap and on both sides while correcting forward head posture. This exercise is also excellent for strengthening the rhomboid and mid traps. Please note: Do not strain your neck while doing this exercise. So respect the range of motion of each shoulder blade when performing this exercise.

*SQUAT BAR ATTACHMENT ARE FUN TO USE WITH A CLIENT THAT HATES SQUATTING BUT THERE IS A FLAW!* Here are quick and useful tips when purchasing these attachments.
1 - If you buy a foam pad, don't go on the cheap side. Buy from a commercial grade equipment company. In time the foam structure and materials will hold up!
2 - The "ORIGINAL" Manta Ray & Sting Ray are made for Olympic bars of 28-30min in diameter.
3 - A good 32mm, 1500 pound Olympic yield bar will accept a "Manta Ray " knockoff which are usually made with these bars in mind.

Final thoughts: I think these attachments are good for variety or with people with neck conditions but I still prefer teaching my clients to squat with no attachments.

Tight Muscles: Latissimus dorsi , quadratus lumborum , pec minor, superior fibers of pec major, biceps tendon & levator scapular hypertonicity.

Weak Muscles: Serratus anterior, lower tarpezius

An Effective Self Treatment for Shoulder (Tendonitis, Bursitis, Impingement) : Ribcage Expansion Rotation Test. In this video, I demonstrate how to assess ''Rib cage Expension Rotation'' with one easy test. The purpose of this test is to find out if the problem is located in the spine, thoracic rib cage or the scapula. Why is this test so important? When suffering from a shoulder tendonitis, you must regain RANGE OF MOTION in the Rib cage in order to fix the problem. Rib cage stiffness is also the number one cause of shoulder tendonitis. A good ROM is 50-70 degrees of rotation on both sides.
