YOGA IS NOT ONLY ABOUT FLEXIBILITY, IT RELIEVES PAIN AS WELL!

I see athletes from different backgrounds everyday. I am always amazed of the similar patterns, postures problems and common pain that comes with fascia dysfunctions .When assessing fascia, the first thing i look for is pronated or supinated feet.

Companies like New Balance and others are creating footwear to fix these deviations and make so much money. So instead of buying shoes, why not go to the heart of the problem?

Today let's look at Oversupination. Its less common than overpronation and causes problems in runners and other athletes such as: Shin splints,Plantar fasciitis,Ankle sprains and Stress fractures of the tibia, calcaneus and metatarsals. Supinated and Inverted feet are connected to your breathing. In the functional lines, you must loosen the Deep and superficial front line.So here are a few poses to fix the problem: Sun salutation pose, Crescent Moon pose, the Camel and the Bridge pose.
